In the prior episode, the team of prisoners finally completed the tunnel.

Most of them entered the tunnel while one stayed behind to help other prisoners escape.

The first wave of escapees made their way through the tunnel and popped out at the other end. But these escapees made their way through the tunnel and popped out at the other end. But these

escapees had no idea how the escape was going for the next wave of prisoners. In this episode,

you'll hear how things turned to chaos back in the prison. And you'll also hear the dramatic details of what happened to one of the prisoners

after he made it out of the tunnel.

I'll conclude this episode by telling you how many men escaped out of the tunnel, how many men were recaptured,

and how many men made it safely back to the Union lines.
