Somebody tweeted Sammy Wock and said, it looks like you're going to have competition next week,

and he tweeted back. I won't go that far, L.O.L. And, like, I'm just wondering, does it surprise

you when guys talk trash ahead of time? No, I mean, I have no problem with it, to be honest with you,

because if you don't have confidence, then you're not going to have success. And those guys have been doing it together for a few years now. They have a ton of confidence in each other. And so, I mean, it's just people get mad when you put it out there as, you know, your quote-unquote bulletin board material. But I mean, I don't have a problem with it. It comes with the nature of this game that

you've got to be confident. You've got to know and believe in yourself.

That's Baker Mayfield addressing a tweet that came from Chiefs Receiver Sammy Watkins earlier this

week. And, you know, I joked in the aftermath of the Browns beating

the Steelers and making it clear that they were motivated by Juju Smith-Schuster's comment that

ended with the Browns as the Browns, that no one from the Chiefs will be dumb enough to say that.

And I think at one point I even said, if the Chiefs can

just avoid having Tyreek Hill or Travis Kelsey say the Browns is the Browns, they'll be fine. Well, it turns out Sammy Watkins said something like it. He tweeted during the game, and I'm going to give you the background here beyond what's on the screen. During the game, when the Browns were up on the Steelers big early.

What the hell is going on?

This is weird. I'm speechless. Pretty sure the whole world is shocked because I've never seen anything like this in my life, not in the NFL. Someone responded to it saying, looks like we got some competition next week. The next day.

No, it was the next day, I think. What was the 10th? When was the 10th? Either way. They know who we mean.

He says, I wouldn't go that far. It was Sunday. During the game, I wouldn't go that far.

Come on, Sammy. Don't. I mean, it's not the same as the Browns as the Browns, but it's a gratuitous needless jab at a team that now is going to use that.

Baker can say whatever he wants to say. Behind closed doors, you use what you can. Right? They already have the nobody believes in his card. I mean, we both believe that the chiefs are going to beat the Browns.

Everybody believes the Chiefs are going to beat the Browns.

When you have people from inside the Chiefs organization actually being the ones to throw the stone,

I just think it makes it easier to get yourself riled up.
