all right welcome everybody this is another installment of jays analysis i've been on with sammy many

many times he's been gracious enough to have me over on his uh channel it's a great channel i've

been listening to it for years watching all those great interviews and you know we haven't done an

interview over here on my channel so he was again gracious enough to come and join me we're going to

be talking to sammy Bull Gravano.

You may or may not know of him.

I'm sure most people have heard of him.

He is probably one of the most famous, if not the most famous living gangster today.

I would say he probably is.

He is known, of course, for his history with the Gambino family,

with his status as an underboss to John Gotti.

This is, again, probably one of the most famous cases in all the history of the mafia.

Sammy the Bull, I want to start if we can with your background.

I know you've told this story many, many times, but tell us about your origin story. How did you come out of,

you know, where you were as a small time guy moving into this, this very important status

with the Gambinos? Yeah, well, there's, you know, a couple of things I got made in 1976.

I was switched from the Colombo family.

I was an associate with them.

I got switched over about 1971 when I got married.

And eventually in 1976, I became a made guy.

One year later, in 1977, Tato, who was my captain, made me his acting captain.

My status went up.
