Summary

On today's episode of Who's There, we focus on one important piece of feedback about... us! And the show! So we begin the episode with a dialogue about how we will be more thoughtful in ways that will only improve our podcast. We want to make sure we are constantly expanding the Whoniverse to include Black Whos, not only when it's an episode of Who Dat. Also, we want to call out the racist behavior of white Whos when we see it, not just ignore the subject because it makes us uncomfortable. Next up, we take a call about Lea Michele, and chat about what exactly she did wrong that made Samantha Ware (and others) willing to call her out publicly. Plus: what do Doja Cat and Lana Del Rey have to do with all of this?! As always, call us at 619.WHO.THEM with your questions, comments, and concerns. Plus, it's something that's a little uncomfortable because as two millennial white people who

don't acknowledge race enough, and also I think couple that with the fact and acute awareness

0:41.1

that we have a predominantly white audience, which makes it easier for us to not acknowledge

race, not to mention our own white fragility, which is also the title of a book, The Two

from we just need to have an open conversation about not only race in general, but our

Yeah, I want to say also, you know, we're doing this because we need to fix this show and

1:26.5

we want to help you understand like systemic racism is in every corner of everything.

1:32.4

This show, pop culture, culture, everything in ways that we're aware of, and then like

1:36.8

also in ways that we will never fully be aware of.
