All right, on this truly monumental occasion, Sam Shaheen is back on Gear 30.

This spring, Sam and four of his friends took on the very big challenge of an expedition

on Denali.

So in this conversation, we get the debrief right from the proverbial horse's mouth,

and we talked to Sam about how the trip went, what he and his crew learned in the process,

and we also talk about some of the gear he brought, and of that gear, what worked well, and what didn't.

I think you all are really going to enjoy this conversation, and next week, we are going to be

talking about Denali and Gear again, since our friend Andrew Alexander King was also on

a Denali expedition not long after Sam.

So we're going to be getting two different tales of Denali. And like we are doing in this episode, Andrew is going to be talking about some
