This week I am recording the intro and outro from beautiful sunny California, the Central Coast. To be specific, San Luis Obispo.

Traditionally, we spend January in Malibu in February in the Bay Area around Santa Cruz and San Francisco and Marin, but we decided to stop partway north this year and spent

some time in San Luis Obispo visiting friends, and I'm impressed. We're loving it. This week's episode

is with Sam Pickman, head of product at Allied Cycles, also basically lead engineer there.

I really wanted to have this conversation for a handful of reasons. One being, it kind of serves as an

introduction to the Allied bicycles in a much more deeper dive than I've done thus far. And I really
