You know, I have a very good sense of the businesses in this room.

I have a lot of friends in it.

You know, when I was building my dad's liquor store in Springfield, New Jersey, not too far from here.

I realized how important technology was and was going to be.

You know, I am 45 now and at the time when I saw the internet the first time in 95 when I was 20, I had never owned a computer.

Right? And so what's interesting about that is that's just the way it was and for anybody who's 45 and older here, obviously there's a lot more tech DNA here.

So I would assume maybe they had the luxury or the serendipity of parents who had Commodore 64's sort of Apple shit or stuff like that.

But that just wasn't my reality.

But my reality was that from the time I was 6 years old, I was born in the Soviet Union, we immigrated here.

And you know, I'm an 80s Jersey boy which meant I was outside 24-7.

And so between my mom and the streets of Jersey, that's how I was raised and my natural DNA was always to sell.

And so from the time I was 5, 6 years old, lemonade stands, washing people's cars.

Like it would snow when everybody be fired up that we weren't going to school.

And they'd want to go sledding and I'm like ringing doorbells trying to make five bucks, shoveling, drive ways for like two hours.

I was just that guy. And then I turned 14 and I was a DNF student which was crazy rare for immigrants because education was the way out.

And so my parents were like cool, you're a DNF student, you're going to work every hour of your life.

So basically from the time I was in eighth grade through all of High School and College, I worked every weekend and every summer vacation.

And my parents were gangsters. I don't know if you guys remember this but the last day of school usually was a half day.

My mom would be at the school in the half day picking me up and driving me to work.

They didn't even want to give me that half day.

And so in that business with my dad, I learned the majority of what I want to talk to you about which was everything that I did not want to do.
