know that long-time listeners. Mixing it off a bit. Yeah exactly. You good? Uh, yeah. Yes, I mean, well, yes. After yesterday. Yeah, okay, so for those who don't know, I wouldn't know, there were some state election results in Germany and they were bad.

Well, they were bad from my perspective.

The headline figure for me is that in one of the states where there were two elections two state elections and in one of the states almost 40% of 18 to 24 year olds

voted for a party that has been confirmed by the government authorities to be right-wing extremists.

So that's bad, that's really bad, I'm not going to lie.

I have been noting a very fast escalation in physical violence against black people including myself in the last few months

and this confirms it. It's really really bad. It is the most dangerous I have seen the political and social situation since I arrived in Germany 10 years ago.

I don't see that lightly. Yeah, aside from that, the football is a, the summer's gorgeous and the football is entertaining so I've got you know I'm enjoying my writing. Oh God let it slip I'm doing a bit of writing. I'm doing a bit of writing. I am I'm working on some writing. I'm always working on some writing but I've done enough of it now to say that it's on its way to something I hope it's good but it's almost done in terms of just the draft stage so we'll see.
