Welcome to our Rosary Meditation.

Happy Feast of St. Joseph. Today we will meditate on St. Joseph as a worker.

Now there's also the Feast of St Joseph the worker on May 1st, but I was

struck by this meditation by Saint Jose Maria Escrava, the founder of Opus Day, on the great dignity and value of work

as a way for us to take part in the activity of God.

God creates, God watches over, God makes holy. And he gives us the great gift of work so that we can create so that

we can watch over things and so that we can become holy through our work, sanctify our work, and by our work we become more like

God if we do it for the love and glory of God the Father.

So let's enter into this meditation on St. Joseph

and the great gift and dignity and blessing of work.

As we begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Your human vocation is a part and an important part of your divine vocation.
