Hey Small Town Fam. How are you? Happy weekend. I hope you're all well.

So, you may or may not have noticed that we are on a two-week hiatus, which we do every season a couple of times because, you know, we're a tiny team, and it takes time to deliver episodes to you that meet our high standards as well as yours.

So, until next week, when we have a brand new case coming your way,

we thought it would be cool to ask detectives Dan and Dave to reach back into our archive

and tell us what their favorite episode is.

Last week, we heard why Dan's favorite is an episode called Bait and Switch.

And this week, we hear why Interstate is Dave's fave.

I actually remember recording this episode, Interstate, and it's great.

This is Detective Dave.

My favorite episode is Interstate.

Interstate stands out for numerous reasons,

starting behind the eight ball with a suspect who had fled

after committing the crime.

There were drugs involved and most important stealing that

case from Dan. That case seems to have everything, having to travel across the country to track

down the suspect, the location that we traveled to, numerous witnesses, and the extradition

back to our jurisdiction with the suspect.

You know why I like that case?

Why?

Because I got to watch Dave's dog.
