Forgiveness is two parts. Forgiveness is two parts. Forgiveness is both a decision and it's a process.

You make the decision to forgive for the fact of what happened,

but then you can walk through the longer process of healing for forgiving for the impact

that this has had on you.

And for every wound, there is a fact and there's an impact. There's the fact of what happened and the impact of how this has affected you, how much this cost you emotionally.

And this is interesting that the Bible calls

what we need to forgive other people of,

those offenses, those hurts,

the emotional cost of it all. Jesus himself refers to all of that hurt as debt.

It's emotional debt and it is okay to make the decision to forgive and still need to walk through the process of forgiving.

So, are you willing to just make the decision to forgive?
