When Happy New Year doesn't feel true to reality because there's a heavy burden following you from the previous year, how do you anchor your heart to something better?

We started last year with a preach to yourself topic, and we think it might be an annual tradition worth pursuing.

Because is there a better way to start the new year than by reminding ourselves of what is true?

Especially when you're burdened.

Okay, here we are starting the year with another like kind of want-wa.

Like we started last year with preaching to ourselves when we were unmotivated

because that's what we felt like we were stuck. Well, maybe we're just truth tellers, Eve.

Yeah, that's true. Let's, let's reframe because the thing is, I think you and I love to be those

you know, girlfriends in the room that kind of say, but really, really, is this really how we feel?

And so this is just two friends coming on being honest and saying just because it's January 1 and it's

the new year doesn't mean that everything resets and everything is perfect and fine.

And it's so hopeful for some of us, those things carried on through the fine. And it's so hopeful. For some of us,

those things carried on through the holidays. And for some of us, we put a big pause on them

because we had to put a time out. I write. I mean, smiley face, put on our smiles, go to the party,

put on the cute clothes and just celebrate. And I'm so glad we had the Christmas season. But

for a lot of us, we're returning back to, okay, but what about this issue in my business?

What about this struggle in our home? What about this financial burden that we haven't dealt

with? What about what about? So we're just here to say,

happy New Year. We understand, because we're your friends, we understand that you might be

starting the new year with a lot of stuff and some baggage from the previous year. How's that?
