So why don't we start with just your story and what brought you to write a book about this?

Mmm, such a good question.

So I mean, I'm one of the 97%. I actually think 97% is a really low estimate of the statistic of women that they say struggle with body image in some way shape or form and I like many

women my literal earliest memory is feeling not okay in my body. And I don't actually remember someone telling me that my

body wasn't good or that it wasn't okay, but as early as I could perceive

myself and my worth and my value, I had concern.

These are big words for how I felt as a really young kid, but I remember like feeling

concern and feeling not okay.

And I felt that way throughout my whole adolescence,

you know, as we do, as is unfortunately really normal and normative for most women.

I struggle with comparison and measuring up and was I okay

and all of those parts of growing up as it is and then I met Jesus when I was 15 and I from the minute I I walked in into relationship with him.
