I'm John Batchler. I welcome my colleague of many decades, Bill Rajo, Senior Fellow for the Foundation for

the Defense of Democracies. We go to the Long War Journal, Bill and his colleagues keep this

chronicle of the violence in the world right now between adversaries, the United States

on one side and on the other side a variety of adversaries.

There's Russia and its shadow fleet transporting oil to China and India and Turkey chiefly,

but anyone who can put money on the barrelhead.

There is violence in Strait of Hormuz. Defensive strikes by the U.S.

Some dare call it a ceasefire.

There are strikes in Kurdistan, for heaven's sakes we learn from Long War Journal.

You don't know about that because it doesn't get attention in the major newspapers.

Newspapers have to make a choice between domestic intelligence

and politics and foreign intelligence and politics. Long World Journal knows that its job is to

cover the foreign conflicts, preying upon the U.S. and its allies. So we will also have two

reports today, or one report today from Gaza, which is a story

that has long been shoved aside to below the fold or page 17, that that dominated the world

for two years. And where is it? We will also have opportunity to talk about what's going on in

East Africa.
