An essay he writes about the lack of understanding of the Bible evidenced in American universities.

Very good universities, Princeton's mentioned, among others.

Not only that, but the lack of understanding about the teachers in these classrooms where the students

are not acquainted with the Bible. At the 250th anniversary of America, the language of the Bible

is all through the Founding Father's documents, the Declaration, the Constitution, all of their

correspondence. In order to have political philosophy in America

and to understand the freedoms we enjoy,

Well, you know, it's interesting that the professor who wrote this piece, Gregory Conti, is himself a non-believer.

And he mentions this in the article, but he identifies that this is biblical illiteracy in America is cultural illiteracy.

You cannot understand Michelangelo or Milton or Bach or Bello or Daskevsky or Douglas if you don't understand the Bible. And you also

really can't even understand, you know, political philosophy, Hobbs, Locke, Burke, Tokvill,

all of them essentially have a certain theological concepts that are

underlying their political philosophies. And these are the political philosophies that essentially
