Charles Burton, our comment, our commenter on the conduct of People's Republic of China in the world,

especially when it comes to what are called moon race or space race or arms race or AI race, any race at all.

The People's Republic of China has a helpmate, which is spying, cyber spying, actual espionage,

sabotage, inculcating the apparatus of states that it wants to undermine.

And no target is more tempting to shine over these last years than Canada.

The second probably largest target for the Chinese interference is the U.S.

And we can combine them this morning because this report from Maxio's remarks upon the senator from Vermont,

Bernie Sanders, who is listed as an independent.

The news goes like this.

Senator Bernie Sanders calling on Washington to collaborate with China on AI, breaking from a bipartisan approach that frames AI development

as a race between the two countries. Charles, a very good day to you. Bernie Sanders always has a

different drum. What is your measure of the idea of cooperating with the People's Republic of China

at all in anything, but especially something as high-end as AI. Good day to you, Charles.

Good day. Well, I think that certainly China is very happy about Mr. Sonders' discourse,

which is that AI poses an existential threat to humanity, and China and the U.S. are both

developing it at the same time, and therefore the two

should cooperate to try and mitigate the potential risks. Well, you know, based on long experience,

China likes to talk about cooperation, but it really amounts to a one-way technology transfer.

And so on the one hand, Mr. Saunders, of course, as a leftist, opposes the idea of AI

altogether because it could lead to job lots as increasing polarization, benefiting corporate and billionaire interests.

And he doesn't like the idea of it consuming electricity or building data centers.
