I think everyone who's educated knows this and the CCP, they

really did sit out the war. It was the nationalist of Shanghai Sheck that fought and died in

huge numbers and the Chinese citizens as well. The Chinese Communist Party just sat around and waited

till it all sort of ended, and then they could

make their move. But I'm not sure how well this is known within China, just after several

decades have passed, and a legend can often take hold. But you'll notice, of course, that

Chinese people love to visit Japan. And I think if you wanted to, you could, you know, 100 million of them would probably move and live, move to Japan and live there.

So they don't all buy the sort of the official line on this.
