I thought it was Gavin Newsom, that head of hair, that storied rise through the politics of California,

the survival in the face of all the negatives that you can put together about the Blue State.

I thought it was Gavin Newsom.

But watching an event these last days, Barack Obama, with his coat off, looking very relaxed and gray-haired,

next to a young man with a black beard named Mamdani, both of them entertaining primary school children in New York and everybody having a

good time. Liz, I think the Democratic Party is falling in love with Mom Dani. I think Gavin Newsom has to

think about it. Yeah, poor Gavin Newsom. It turns out if you really, really destroy a state and constantly come up with just

horrible fiscal mishaps, budget deficits, and misappropriation of funds, not personally,

but overseeing a state where there's rampant fraud, you know, I think the GOP's done a pretty

good job of sabotaging Gavin Newsom's presidential

aspirations.

And boy, oh, boy, is he eager.

Yeah, he's been running hard.

And about all he has to offer, in my view, is a good head of hair.
