At the same time, Mr. Starrmer is proposing giving the Chagos Islands that have been in the British possession since the 18th century, colonies, empire, giving them to Mauritius,

which was also in the British possession since the 18th century taken from France,

knowing that Mauritius is shot through with influence peddling out of China.

The Chagos Island contained Diego Garcia, which is a major strategic base in the Indian Ocean.

Nothing seems to persuade Mr. Starrmer that this is the wrong direction to follow, but it does

look very much like he's acting as a supplicant to China.

How do you see him, Mary? Well, it's just an unnecessary,

very damaging decision by Starmer to proceed with this course of action. You know, ironically,

John, the U.S. State Department greenlighted the deal last year, which tells you two things. Number one,
