There are a number of companies who propose to I learn from Bob, but there's a new company that looks bright.

It's going to work for the Pentagon. What is to be done? Here Bob explains, we're looking at a junkyard,

and it must be cleaned up because it becomes dangerous to space tourism.

It'll cost people money.

Maybe they're lives.

Yeah, it's true.

Earth orbit is beginning to resemble an adolescence bedroom, I would say, yes.

And so they need to clean the junk up.

There are a whole bunch of

contracts that have been issued to, in the U.S., in Europe, in Japan, to either private or

government agencies to do demo missions to de-orbit defunct satellites or junk. As far as I can tell, none of them has actually achieved this yet.

There have been some attempts that didn't succeed. There have been some delays for other reasons

that are out of their control. But no one has actually deorbited anything. But yet this week,

the Space Forces Space Development Agency issued a $52 million

contract to a orbital tug startup called Starfish Space to deorbit the military's defunct

satellites beginning in 27.
