Jeremy Sackas is here to remember the story of the little girl who was suddenly bitten by a great eastern brown.

That is death within a half an hour unless you have a very strong immune system, which she did.

But there's more to it

than that is part two. First of all, she's alive. That's a miracle in itself because she was hit

without knowing it. Did she testify afterwards she felt it right away or was she worried that

she stepped on something and it wasn't a bite?

How did she record what it felt like, Jeremy?

Yes, she did.

She very much knew that she had been bitten because it was actually a very sharp pain,

a very strong striking pain.

So luckily, she recognized what had actually happened.

And I believe she actually did catch in the corner of her eye or managed to actually see at least the tail end of the snake

as well. So she was very, very lucky that she knew exactly what had happened when it happened.

Where are they? Where is this location? This is in Queensland. So this is in around about

central Queensland. So if you in around about central Queensland.

So if you drive straight up from Brisbane for about three and a half hours,

you'll effectively hit it.

And it's in a very, very, I guess you could say,

isolated part of Queensland.

Which is why, having survived it miraculously,

they got her to the clinic on time for her.
