This is John Batchel, speaking with colleague Brandon Weikert of national interest about Jensen Wang, the CEO, the boss, the genius of NVIDIA, making the high-end chips that everybody desires for artificial intelligence.

The profile in Financial Times, making Jensen Wang the person of the year, makes the case that this is a very hardworking man who's reaped the billions that he possesses from risk and keeping his nose down and grinding ahead.

But he's becoming what Brendan identifies as a very significant geopolitical player,

a world-scale diplomat, challenging and, in Brendan's opinion, besting Elon Musk as the most

important businessman, is Brendan on Jensen Wang, the man who brought us in Vidia, and who is making

uncomfortable predictions about the future

unless is Brennan, more of this than I.

Yeah, well, I would argue that he is probably the most important tycoon in America today.

I think he probably even surpasses Elon Musk in terms of his poll now at the geo-economic, geopolitical, or geotechnology, if you really want to get technical level.

And I think that that Jensen Wang, there is a direct link you see in the new National Security Strategy memo in, a real standing down or a softening

of language from the United States and how they talk about the rise of China.

It's gone from hawkishness to, dare I say, dovishness.

And I believe fully that Jensen Wang and his influence and his relationship with the president,

I think this is having real impacts on how the current administration is viewing China. Because as we all know, Jensen Wang does not want to war with China.

He wants to open that market up and start selling his product there full, full bore.
