1:06.9	right now? Good evening to you. Good evening. Well, I think that Mr. Carney has an assumption
1:12.8	that if he makes concessions to China on China's infiltration of Canadian society, espionage,
1:20.3	doesn't implement the Foreign Agents Registry Act and doesn't prevent Chinese proxies harassing opponents of China in Canada,
1:33.8	that China will respond by generously opening its market to more import of Canadian commodities.
1:42.1	Historically, this hasn't been the case that when you're nice to China,
1:46.2	they don't actually give you the reward. They simply give you a promise of the reward. But I think
1:51.5	that's where Mr. Carney is going. I'm speaking in the Canadian Parliament tomorrow about the
1:57.5	delay, the long delay in implementation of what we call our foreign influence
2:04.2	and interference registry because the government doesn't seem to want to have a FARA because
2:11.1	China obviously would not like to see their operations in subverting Canadian policy makers inhibited by implementation of a law that's been
2:21.7	on the book since June 2024.
2:24.4	So, you know, there's certainly, I don't think Mr. Carney has a very sophisticated
2:29.2	knowledge of the Chinese Communist Party, but he is looking in other areas.
