Summary
Best-selling author Caroline Criado-Perez OBE is a feminist activist and led the campaign for keeping a woman on British banknotes. Not only that, but she also spearheaded the movement to install the first female statue in Parliament Square. Caroline epitomises the difference we can make in the world when we see that something needs to change.
In this episode, Holly and Caroline explore how our generation can challenge, and hopefully move on from, the enforced societal “imposter syndrome” and identify the sometimes hidden, but very much rife, inequality within our society.
Caroline and Holly discuss the impact of her award-winning book, Invisible Woman, and how it has highlighted and driven forward, the much-needed conversation around gender and data. No easy feat!
Honest, fearless and a true activist at her core, Caroline Criado-Perez is a force to be reckoned with and this episode is guaranteed to motivate you to do more when it comes to demanding equality.
