Hi, everybody.

Tonight, I have the distinct pleasure before I introduce him formally of welcoming to our show Mike Russell.

I was contacted 10 years ago to do a book on Mike who was working undercover with a northern New Jersey mafia crew.

In other words, she was an undercover cop,

which turned out to be the title of our book.

That's a catchy title, you think?

That took a while.

And, you know, my first response is always,

well, why is this guy's story unique?

The thousands of other undercover cops have operated throughout the history of policing,

because that's what sells books, being different.

You could use Gianni as an example when I was asked to help him with his book.

We all know Gianni is an interested person who made a big splash on the scene, whether it being in private business in the movies, with the mob.

It's highly likely to say the likes of Gianni Russo will never be seen again.

And some people say, well, thank God for that.
