C.S. Lewis's Dangerous Idea. After Hours with Dr. Victor Repert.

Good morning, everyone.

Pints with Jack is your favourite weekly CS Lois podcast, where Andrew Matt and I break down and discuss the works of C.S. Lewis.

This season, we've worked our way through Lewis's book, The Four Loves.

We then had Acumenism Month, where we spoke to Lewis lovers from diverse religious backgrounds. And we're now in apologetics month. And we're examining some of

Lewis's favourite arguments for, among other things, theism and Christianity. Today we're talking about

the argument from reason. And our guide through this apologetic argument is a man whose name is

synonymous with it, Dr Victor Rappert. Dr. Victor Rappert received his PhD from the University

of Illinois, and is the adjunct professor of philosophy at Glendale Community College in Arizona.

He's active in several CS Lewis societies and has written articles on Lewis's apologetics

for journals

such as the Christian Scholars Review, Philosophia Christie, and the International Journal of

Philosophy of Religion. He also appeared in a documentary with Dr. John G. West, who began our

apologetics month, as well as the book which Dr. West edited called The Magicians Twin.

Most importantly, he's the author of the book C.S. Lewis's Dangerous Idea, which I'm sure
