Pines with Jack is your favourite weekly CS Lewis podcast, where Andrew, Matt and I break down and discuss the works of CS Lewis.

This season, we've been talking about love, slowly and deliberately working our way through the four loves, which we finished in March. And this past

month has been ecumenism month, spending time talking to people who love C.S. Lewis from a diverse

range of religious backgrounds. Eastern Orthodoxy, different kinds of Protestantism, Mormonism and Judaism.

And although it wasn't really part of a humanism month in the previous episode, Matt interviewed

Sister Miriam, a Catholic, but their discussion also tied back to this season's broader

discussion about love. And I have a feeling that we're going to have some similarities with

today's episode.

So here's what happened.

A couple of months ago, one of our listeners, Kay, she very thoughtfully sent me a care package,

and it included the April edition of a little publication called Guideposts.

And on the cover of that magazine was today's guest, and it said, Jeremiah Brodrick,

how C.S. Lewis helped this veteran rediscover his faith. And after reading it, I found out that

he'd also written a book, removing the dragon's skin. And so I think you can guess what happened

next. I reached out to him and invited him onto the show. And normally with these

kinds of episodes, at this point, I'd usually provide a brief bio for my guest, but really his

story and his discovery of C.S. Lewis and the book these written are all tied up together. So I think
