Good morning, everyone.

Pines for Jack is your weekly CS Lois podcast where three friends, Andrew, David and Matt,

break down and discuss the works of CS Lois. This season, we're talking about love, slowly and deliberately working our way through the four loves, the book where Lewis writes about affection, friendship, romance and

charity. And today is a special episode. We thought that it would be a good idea that as we

finish each of these

four loves, for us to interview someone with whom we share that particular kind of love. And this

past month, we've been looking at Storgie, at affection, the love of the familiar, particularly

related to family. So we'll kick things off with Matt.

Hello friends, this is Matt here now.

I do not know the order that David put these in.

I know he did the introduction, but I am here with my individual that I will introduce in a second for the affection.

And this one might, I don't actually know who David,

well, David, I think chose his mom and I don't know who Andrew chose.

But I'm guessing people wouldn't have expected who I chose because this is a male friend, which you probably wouldn't think.

You'd think save that for the friendship chapter.

And affection would be a mother or a sister or something like that or a wife because it's

in the household that a lot of affection happens.

But I will explain in a second.
