Today is June 23rd, 2021, in our first story.

Russia has fired warning shots and dropped bombs near a UK Royal Naval War ship, threatening

them for entering what they say is their waters off of Crimea.

China has announced that they will join Russia in counterattacks due to US provocation

sparking fears that we are escalating dangerously close to a major international conflict.

Our next story, parents in Loudoun County, at a rocket school board meeting actually

got arrested challenging a critical race theory in anger.

In our last story, IKEA served fried chicken and watermelon to commemorate June 10th, the

end of slavery, and everyone's kind of mad about that.

Now let's get into that first story.

The Russian Defense Ministry has claimed to have fired warning shots on a UK naval vessel,

and we also have some reporting that they were dropping bombs in the path of the UK Navy,

as they were entering Russian occupied waters just off of Crimea.

And of course, Russia claims this territory as their own saying they legally annexed Crimea,

which is a small peninsula south of Ukraine.

While many others in the world are especially in Ukraine, view Crimea is still part of Ukraine.

There's a very complicated conflict story that goes back well before the Trump administration,

and I think this story shows a lot of what we feared with the election of Joe Biden.

Before Donald Trump got elected, there were escalating tensions in Eastern Ukraine, as Russia

was trying to annex certain areas of Ukraine.
