I had what we consider to be a very up-sidy moment at work yesterday and I wanted to share it with you

because it's a good reminder about like daily frustrations because we all have them.

Like there are points where we go through our day where it's like, oh my gosh,

the stripes are not or this is so annoying or you catch yourself like rolling your eyes at something.

Are these like micro anxieties that you can control or are these just frustrations that

just things that happen out of control. So I work in a TV studio and every day come in and

there's a clock that says it's what we call like the master control clock which basically says

like what the times that the commercials are and where we are in our show and stuff like that.

So it's like a countdown to get commercials and stuff like that. Do you want your mind to be

blown because I working in radio we always had master clocks in our studio.

Isn't it amazing to think that in every TV and radio studio in the world is a clock that

tells the exact same time. It's weird. Does that like mind blowing? Yeah, it's really weird.

Because they're hooked up. Most of them have an internet or a satellite connection that keep them

perfectly in sync because like in Cali's case she works in TV and they have studios all over the

world. So if Cali show is going to talk to a journalist who's working out of wherever.

Like one minute makes such a difference. One second. Like if they're going to connect with

somebody who's in Beijing. Right. Then the clocks have to be counting down to the exact. So hey,

we're going to come to you at exactly for 634 and 30 seconds. Right. And for whatever reason that's

just one of those little things that fries my brain every time I see one of those times. That's

crazy. It's so exact. Yeah. So this one happens to be there's a couple of master clocks but there's

one that is on a computer screen facing where I sit. So I can see it easily and count our

anchors down. Sure. So the way they do that is that they have a program running like an internet
