Hey, Celeste. Hey, thanks for having me. Thank you so much for being on the show. All right, now for a quick synopsis of episode 3, if you have not listened to the Hair and Farm,

go back and listen to it before you listen to this episode. In episode 3, we're introduced to the Hair and Farm owned by Mike Heron.

He's a friend and coworker of Greg Lances. In August of 1998, both before and after the Chalesa Cow's were murdered,

Mike Heron's neighbors witnessed a number of strange happenings on his farm.

Heron himself didn't live on the farm, so his neighbors kept an eye on the place.

Three days before Victor and Ola were murdered, Heron neighbors Judy Wells and Joe Brown heard gunshots on the property.

Upon investigating, Joe later said he found a couple of full gasoline cans in Heron's barn.

Later that week, they said they saw some strangers on the farm, and a few weeks after that,

Heron's other neighbors, the Powell's, saw smoke coming from the farm because someone was burning something there.

When Joe took a closer look, he says he found a burned log with a bullet in it.

That same week, they also saw a strange U-Haul truck on the property,

and at the end of the month, the authorities conducted a two-day search on the farm,

which yielded a slew of casings and bullets.

They also established that Greg had been on the property many times and gone shooting there in the past.

So the investigators tied much of what happened on the farm to the Kaleznikau killings.
