I'm your guide, Derek Hayes.

Welcome, everyone, and thank you for tuning in to this week's show.

I have a confession to make. I'm a bit of a workaholic.

I spend entirely too much time working on my art, which I'm doing full time now,

remodeling my cabin, producing this show, running cryptic grate, and countless other projects I always have going on.

Bottom line is, I work too much.

Which leads me to my second confession.

I'm tired.

Over the past month and a half, I've created and sold hundreds of pieces of dark art for holiday shoppers. Several of those pieces being custom, one-of-a-kind creations. So to put it bluntly, I'm War Out.

So wore out, in fact, that I contemplated not doing a show this week. After all, it is nearly

Christmas. But ultimately, I finally decided to pull up my bootstraps and put my nose to the grindstone and get this thing in the can, so to speak.

Writing, recording, editing, and releasing this episode is the last bit of work I have to do before I can take a few days off to celebrate the holidays with friends and family.

So enough whining. Let's get this thing done.
