We're beginning a new month and that means a new series.

Typically, the month of May kicks off prom season in America.

For those of you lamenting the postponement of this ride of passage for teens,

let me just point out that I myself never attended a prom and I turned out okay.

Well, mostly okay.

To be honest, I really didn't get all the hoop loss surrounding the prom when I was in high school.

To me, it seemed like an overhyped and overpriced dance for social convention dictated you were formal attire

that I wouldn't be contented in.

But hey, I guess that was just the rebel part of my teenage self.

And by the way, when Ducky showed up at his prom, I was very disappointed.

What a sell out.

Anywho, I hope that those of you who have to sit out this dance feel a little better knowing

that you still rock whether or not you attend prom.
