uh... well i'm i'm glad you would make the time i know uh... everyone

so matt has a p a american in american history from washington state university

uh and uh he's he's written different uh books and articles and so on obviously part of the

the publications project as well or the joe smith project as well um but that's that's the boring

stuff why don't you tell us about you, your family,

or whatever else would help us kind of understand you and what makes you tick and why you

like history or whatever else. You don't have to tell us that. You can tell us about water skiing

if you want, whatever you want. Oh, great. Well, I kind of have history of my blood. My father has a PhD in history. My mother had a master's degree in history.

Both of them loved church history. They were active members of the Mormon History Association for a long, long time.

My mom has since passed away. My father is in his 90s,

so he doesn't attend meetings anymore, but he still loves reading history. So I was kind of
