0:36.0

I think we have to start by reviewing our EV special from last week.

0:44.0

I have a degree. We can't just ignore the elephant in the room.

0:48.0

Because it was a big episode for us and episode I'm super pleased we did. We were building up to it for a long time. We were trying to prepare.

0:54.0

We tried to be as prepared as possible. We launched into it. We walked away thinking, you know what? We think we did a good job.

1:00.0

We presented a kind of a fair picture of the EV landscape. Sam did a great job I think. The episode went live.

1:08.0

And it remained as controversial as any EV topic ever is on this podcast.

1:13.0

I don't think you can prepare. I don't think we don't normally prepare anyway, which is why we do what we do.

I mean, you do a lot more pairing than me, but for things like that, we don't know. It's not scripted. We don't know what he was going to say.

1:28.0

So, you know, we just had to respond on what he said and we challenged him.

1:33.0

Yeah, I think we kind of listened. We didn't cover every avenue because it would have been four hours long.

1:45.0

I literally was forcing the conversation to end towards the end of the episode because Sam very kindly basically agreed to give us 45 minutes of his time.

1:54.0

We ended up recording for I think an hour and 20 minutes nearly and I was desperately trying to wrap things up. But you're right, there was so much to discuss.

2:02.0

And it kills me to say, you know, I don't prepare for these. I put so much preparation, which I have to do.

2:08.0

Each of these episodes, I'm working. And you're like, oh, we never prepared. I'm like, well, especially that episode. There was a lot of preparation.

2:15.0

But I'm glad to see that you recognize that Tony. But now you're right in the sense where we launched into it with a lot of questions.

2:22.0

And we weren't sure what was going to come back. But I think Sam really, you know, held his own. He was obviously passionate about, you know, electric vehicles, the infrastructure, everything about that.

2:31.0

He was always going to champion it. But I think we did a good job at taking on a lot what he said, but also challenging a lot of what he said.
