They had made a post saying that I was going to get my ass beat, and it wasn't going to be from them, which scared me.

I'm Jamie Beebe. And I'm Tricked Up Tula. On today's episode of Strictly Stocking, we're speaking with Hannah, who was stocked by someone on Facebook.

The soccer mimicked Hannah's life, dressing like her, taking similar photos, similar hairstyles, and even going as far as dating her ex-husband.

Things got so bad that she was granted an emergency protective order, but that only escalated the cyber stocking. Hannah, thank you for joining us today.

Thanks for having me. How important is social media in your life?

It does play a big role in my life every day. You know, I'm a small content creator and influencer on TikTok.

I work with a lot of great companies. I usually like working with small businesses, rather than, you know, big corporations, just because I like supporting them.

So yeah, it's an everyday thing. I've made so many beautiful friendships, office social media that, you know, I never thought I would make.

And when you say that, you make a lot of content and influencer, what kind of content are you making?

I mean, it all started with a thrift haul. I used to be in a work group chat at one of my old jobs. I used to always go thrifting and show them what I got in there.

Like, you need to start a YouTube channel. So in TikTok came out, I was like, okay, that's not as much effort, but I'm still making the videos.

So yeah, I did my first thrift haul on TikTok and it did really, really well. And then I was like, okay, well, I can't just go shopping every single day.

And I do. And that was makeup. So it's just a lot of like little shopping halls and makeup.

What was your social media presence like when you're stuck or first started contacting you?

I didn't really have one. Honestly, I feel like social media over COVID progressed so much like it.

It just took a whole turn, you know, back in the day on Facebook, you would add people even to school with.

You would add your family. And now we just have, you know, being alternative. We have these giant community. I can look at someone who sent me a firm request and it says like 532 mutual friends.

And it's like, I have no idea who you are, but we're all in this big community. But that wasn't the case when all of this had started. I had no social media presence.

I had like maybe 500 followers on Instagram. I wasn't really anyone, but just another alternative person on Facebook.

Take us back to when your soccer did first reach out and tell us how it all started. What happened? Who is this person to you?

So I kind of had them. They're non binary. So they them pronouns. I kind of had them on Facebook. And I also had who they were dating at the time on Facebook. He had added me.

Me and him hit it off. He was such a cool dude. And he was like, Hey, like you should get to know my partner. Like I think you guys would be really great friends. And I was like, OK, like I'm nervous. But I'll reach out. I'll reach out. And we did get along really, really well.
