1:58.0 | So those were a little different. The self defense I was attacked when I was younger and I learned that a black belt is not really helpful. |
2:07.0 | You need to know a little bit more. So I kind of started to dive into it a little bit more figured out I'm great at talking to people. |

2:18.0 | And when I was working with police departments, the instructors for the self women self defense were normally type a males who, you know, when victims are in the room. |
2:28.0 | I was like, exactly talk to them more of yelling scream at them and being a victim myself. |
2:33.0 | I was like, you guys are shutting me down. I am a freaking type a female and you're shutting me down and I'm one of your fucking instructors. |
2:39.0 | Like this is ridiculous. So I started taking over and that's when I realized I had a knack and I was really good at instructing and it was that first woman that came back and told me, dude, everything you taught me. |
2:50.0 | I had to use it and it worked. And that was like, oh my god. Okay, I gold mine here because you just gave me a high. |
2:57.0 | And I'm going to chase that high because now I know I made a difference. Like all I did was teach you some self defense moves, but it worked. |
3:04.0 | And your life is safer and better now because of it. |
3:08.0 | So that was kind of what helped me develop it into a business because now I'm chasing that high. I want to help more women. |
