this week, Watermark Health has taken over the podcast as we read through the book of Leviticus

together. Today, it's just me and the podcast studio, so let's jump into this next section together.

Today we're covering chapters 21 through 24, and I want to zero in on 23 and 24, which covers

one weekly and five different annual appointed times that are referred to as feasts that Israel

was expected to acknowledge and honor the Lord. Now, most of these are mentioned as well

in Exodus and established there. They're also referenced in Numbers and Deuteronomy, but in

Leviticus, we find specifically the ritual parts of these feasts. The first mentioned is the Sabbath,

which is a weekly appointed time, and this is established in Exodus as a part of the

Ten Commandments. It's a day dedicated to rest and reflection on the work that the Lord has done.
