And I call them inside the Consulate, I get number from the Internet.

And I call them to ask about Jamal.

And I ask him, I'm waiting in front of the doors.

My name is Hatice, I am fiancé of Jamal, but it's Jamal.

Where is Jamal?

That was the simple plaintiff question that Hatice Cheng is posed to a security guard at the

Saudi Consulate in Istanbul late on the afternoon of October 2, 2018.

A soft spoken Turkish graduate student, Hatice was the fiance of the famed Saudi journalist

Jamal Khashoggi.

She had accompanied him to the Consulate that day and waited patiently for hours while he

went inside and never came out.

Moments after she posed her question, the security guard emerged to question her.

He came out, yeah.

And he asked me who you are again the same questions, but he was really fear in his face.
