Donnie Barentine became a suspect in the Swain case

after he and two other men were pulled over for a traffic stop

in Telford County, Georgia, and the state trooper discovered a machine gun in their car. Barentine and the two men he was with were arrested, and not long after

one of those two men, Jeff Ketrell, began to talk, and he kept talking about all sorts of things,

including a time Donnie had come over to his house and Mariana and brought along a friend who was a blonde

guy with glasses. And then Donnie had started bragging about how they went to a church and shot
