0:30.4	If you're new here we are diving into the entire New Testament one chapter a day this year.
0:36.0	Today we are in Matthew 23.
0:38.0	As always, I'm using the free behold reading plan and the Behold Study Guides from the Daily Grace Co.

1:03.0	We are continuing to move through Passion Week, which is the week from Palm Sunday to Jesus'
1:07.8	death and resurrection.
1:09.6	So it's interesting to note that in the Gospel of Matthew, nearly one third of the narrative is dedicated to this one week in Jesus's life.
1:18.0	Knowing that these events took place during these days before the crucifixion helps us to put into context and perspective what is happening here
1:25.6	as well as what is happening behind the scenes as these leaders are likely already
1:30.0	plotting to have Jesus killed. Matthew 23 is typically broken into just two sections.
