an account of Jesus' first public miracle, the turning of water into wine at the wedding in Cana. Jesus and his disciples are

invited to a wedding and Jesus' mom is also in attendance. Wedding festivities in the Jewish culture

are a big celebration, typically lasting about a week at a time. Except at this particular wedding,

there was one big problem.

The wine was running out, the ultimate party fowl for the first century wedding. The groom was

expected to provide enough wine for celebrations to continue throughout the week, and a lack of
