0:30.3	and I have been loving our time in the Book of Ephesians.
0:33.0	Today we're in Ephesions 5.
0:36.0	In Ephesions 5, Paul calls us to imitate Jesus.
0:40.0	Paul encourages believers to live in response to who we are in Christ and what Jesus
0:45.9	has done for us. We are the dearly loved children of God and we are called to follow in the ways
0:52.3	of our good God. We are called to follow in the ways of our good God.
0:53.8	We are commanded to walk in love the way that Christ loved us
0:58.0	and we are reminded of the sacrifice of Jesus for us.
1:01.8	We too can imitate the sacrifice of Christ in our daily lives.
1:06.6	The sacrifice and fragrant offering language draws on the Old Testament language of sacrifice, and
1:12.1	here we are shown that we too can offer our entire lives
1:15.6	for others and for the Lord.
1:18.0	Paul speaks to the Ephesian Church and he tells them that there are things that should not
1:21.5	be part of the life of a beloved child of God.
