Summary

Hey y’all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week’s episode our host, Ally Yost, speaks on the topic of rejection. As Christians, we know that Jesus himself was rejected by the world as soon as He entered it. He tells us in John 15:18 that, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first." Although we are not spared from rejection, we are also not spared from the love and grace of God. His mercy and goodness will forever triumph any rejection we will encounter on this earth.

Hello everybody happy happy Friday. Welcome to another episode of Christ with

0:17.4

coffee on ice. I am so grateful to be here with you guys and I'm really

0:22.4

excited to just be vulnerable with you guys and I'm really excited to just be vulnerable with y'all because I really

0:25.8

think this topic today was definitely inspired by something that I have been actively

0:32.1

going through and just feeling and I know that you know everything

0:36.8

that happens to us the Lord first allows and sometimes that can feel really

0:41.4

confusing especially when it comes to hardships.

0:43.6

I think it's really easy to rejoice and be excited for all the great things that the Lord

0:49.0

allows to happen in our life, but sometimes it's really hard to come to terms and accept that he also

0:56.2

does allow hardships in our life.

1:00.4

And we can question him and his sovereignty and say,

1:03.2

Lord, are you sure that you allowed this?

1:05.1

Like, are you sure that you really wanted this to happen?

1:07.9

Or maybe not wanted, but are you sure you're really going to be able to turn this to good

1:12.0

and like make this a blessing? I don't see how you

1:14.6

could do that. We really will sometimes question him and why he lets certain trials and things

1:20.3

happen to us. So with that, I guess I'm setting it up like it's going to be this big

1:23.6

tragic thing. It's not that tragic. But I just I just felt it on my heart to

1:28.0

acknowledge that that we all all of our hardships look different and at the end of

1:31.8

it all we really do look to God and at the end of it all we really do look to God and we say okay so

1:35.6

where's the fruit in this like why is this happening or why did this happen to me

1:40.0

and I think that you know something that's really important to remember about being a Christian,
