Summary

On the night of June 24, 2025, 16-year-old Trey Wright of South Carolina was fatally shot after being lured to a remote road by his girlfriend, Gianna Kistenmacher. Gianna had also brought along Devan Raper, who brought a firearm to the meeting. Authorities say the ambush, over a romantic rivalry, was planned, involved multiple teenagers, and has resulted in multiple arrests.
