Hello everybody welcome back to crime Weekly I'm Stephanie Harlow and I'm Derek

Levasser we are jumping right into part seven of the Dan Markel case there's

only going to be one more part after this and then we're going to be starting a new case

Which Derek and I still have to talk about what that's going to be but we are probably going to talk about that today and it's going to be a good one as always

but we're still sitting here with the Jan Markel because the arrests are just now starting to

happen.

Katie Magmanua's been arrested.

Sycillo Garcia, Luis Rivera, and now Katie went to trial,

and her first trial goes to a mistrial.

The jury can't decide. It's two people that are

holding out. She's going to be tried again, right? So Katie may have looked out in her

first trial, but the prosecution was not going to give up. Not on Katie and not on Charlie Adelson either.

Prosecutor Georgia Kappelman,

who's a rock star by the way.

I watched so much of this trial and I just love Georgia because Charlie Adelson is so

obnoxious and so annoying and so frustrating and she doesn't she tries to hide it at

first but she can't do it for she can't do it forever and eventually you start

feeling like oh at least somebody gets it because this this guy is so

frustrating and annoying and obnoxious and to see Georgia just be able to express that and let him know that he's

making her feel that way is is great. She's smart, she's quick, she's a good

lawyer and Georgia capitalman planned to put Katie on trial again and get a conviction against her,

Katie, mainly so that it could be used to get Charlie. So Georgia Kappelman
