Summary

On this episode of the BWR Podcast, the crew had the pleasure of interviewing a very special guest, Andre Norman out of Boston, Massachusetts. Growing up in poverty, Andre’s life of crime and violence led him to being sentenced to 100 years in a maximum-security prison. During his time in prison, Andre decided to turn his life around and took every step possible to do so. After serving 14 years in prison, Andre was released after working tirelessly for 20 hours a day teaching himself how to read, attaining his GED, and eventually winning his appeal to be released. Overcoming poverty, gang-life, and prison, Andre is now an International Speaker and Harvard Fellow. Today, Andre helps people all across the globe turn their lives around through his inspirational speeches and programs such as Unlock Your Life, The Academy of Hope, and so much more.
