Hello everyone, it's Dave Chen. Quick note about this episode. Joanna and I actually were only able to record the first hour of this episode which covers the season finale of season three of Game of Thrones.

Due to scheduling conflicts, we were actually unable to complete the recording as we had planned.

We will be doing that later in the week. I rather than wait for that though, I kind of just wanted to get this first hour out for you guys.

So apologies for the slight schedule change, but here is the first half of our episode covering season three, episode ten of Game of Thrones.

There was a huge response in the podcasting world, in the blogging world, in the television critic world, to last week's red wedding episode of Game of Thrones entitled The Reigns of Castamere.

Interesting statistic, Joanna Robinson, there was one download of a cast of Kings for every 100 viewers of that episode when it aired.

So that is how many people downloaded a cast of Kings last week. People really needed an outlet for their grief and that's understandable because I certainly did as well and this podcast was that for me.

So if you're tuning in for the first time, thank you guys for tuning in. If you don't know how things work around here, we treat Game of Thrones primarily as a television show, not as a book series.

That means we'll be spoiling everything through this week's episode of Game of Thrones season three episode 10, the season finale, Misa.

We will not be spoiling anything from future week's episodes and that includes anything in the next time on previews of Game of Thrones that they show on HBO, anything in terms of plot developments from future books.

Basically, if you need to ask, is it a spoiler if dot dot dot, it is probably a spoiler. So please do not mention it in the comments or, you know, in emails, less they'd be screened by Joanna Robinson speaking of emails.
