Summary

Lily Baldwin was stalked for over thirteen years by a man who became obsessed with her while she toured as a backup dancer. It started with emails, then calls, notes, and gifts in the mail - until he came to the United States looking for her. Lily hired a legal firm and sent him a cease and desist letter to stop contacting her, but it was ignored. As the stalking continued, Lily was able to get the Manhattan special victims unit involved, but there was little they could do when her stalker left the US. When the stalking escalated, Lily moved to Los Angeles and went into hiding, afraid for her life. Lily fought back and created “Stories of the Stalked,” a six-episode true-crime podcast series detailing her stalking experience. She also started a non-profit organization, “Stop Stalking Us” creating awareness and support for stalking victims. 1:00.0	In 2009, while touring the world as a backup dancer, Lily received an email from a fan who went into too much detail about her performance, giving her an immediate bad feeling.
1:09.0	Within two weeks, he found her contact information, calling repeatedly and sending her packages full of mementos that reminded him of her.
1:16.0	Like ticket stubs, a crushed beer can, a napkin from a restaurant, and a letter saying, I know you love Lily.
1:22.0	I really do.
1:23.0	She changed her number, which ended the calls, but the emails continued.
1:26.0	She never responded, and in 2010, she had a legal firm send a cease-knit to sister's letter, telling him to stop contacting her but it did no good.
1:34.0	And then in 2011, he showed up in New York at a company's office she worked with, looking for her.
1:40.0	When he didn't find her there, he told them he'd searched every dance studio in town until he did.
