Friends, welcome back to the Pints with Jack weekly podcast, where David and I have the distinct privilege of enjoying

a drink together, unpacking the writings of C.S. Lewis, discovering the truth and beauty of

Christianity, and most importantly sharing this journey with you all. We're currently in season two

in unlocking the treasures hidden within our favorite C.S. Lewis work, The Great Divorce.

My name is Matt, and I'm joined by David, a man who I would happily sit next to on the bus to

heaven, at least for a couple hours. Yeah, yeah, the feeling's mutual.

Although hopefully by then I will have developed the virtue of patience to a greater degree.

This week, we are not drinking, I am drinking the Glenmorengi La Santa, which is going to be delicious.

Matt, would you mind explaining to the listeners why you are not drinking the La Santa as well?

So I was in Michigan over Christmas break and was there for an extended period, and so I rented out my apartment in New York to Airbnb. And just today, I was ready to pull out my Glenn

Moranji. And as I'm bowling it out, every single one of them is empty.

So clearly, I think my person overhelped himself a little bit to some of my alcoholic beverages.

That is so bad.

It is.

This is why I hide my drink.

He was such a nice bloke, though.

I mean, we did chat on the phone when he got here and I

answered a few questions. So there's a part of me that's like, you know, I'm glad you, I hope

you had a good time with it. So, so today, all that's to say is Matt's going to be drinking some

tea. And I didn't feel the urge to go out and get more because I'm going to be starting a program
